Twelve years in the Army. Nine in fuel.

Michael spent 12 years in the U.S. Army in logistics and instruction, leading teams of up to 300 soldiers and serving in the Middle East. He is a service-disabled veteran.

He then spent nine years at TAC Energy in wholesale fuel supply: blending, credit trading, terminals and distributors, across a network of more than 1,000 carriers. Most cleantech startups stall at getting gallons sold. That is the part he knows best.

In June 2025 he started PlastiBioFuel around one idea: turn PET plastic into ethanol. He taught himself the enzyme chemistry and reactor engineering, filed a provisional patent a month later, and set up sponsored lab research to test it on real bottles. It worked on the first attempt.

He is completing a BBA in Finance at the University of North Texas (3.7 GPA), graduating in December 2026.
